Head of Corporate Innovation –  Business Development

 

Dealflow.eu is looking to hire a a Head of Corporate Innovation Business Development to lead and scale our B2B innovation partnerships with large corporates across Europe. This is a senior, sales-driven role for someone who combines a strategic mindset, an entrepreneurial approach, and a powerful corporate network within innovation, R&D, and venturing teams.

Dealflow.eu is an EU-funded platform and VC firm based in Lisbon, connecting high-potential, EU-backed startups with leading investors and corporates. With a team of 21 employees representing 10 nationalities, we combine a powerful matchmaking engine, hands-on advisory, a dedicated VC fund, and tailored private services to help scale Europe’s top deep tech innovations.

Key Requirements:

  • 7+ years’ experience in B2B or enterprise sales, ideally in innovation services, consulting, SaaS, or startup/venture engagement
  • Proven track record of closing large deals (€100K+ annually) with major corporate clients
  • Deep and active corporate network across Europe, especially within innovation, R&D, strategy, or venturing departments
  • Strong understanding of the corporate-startup ecosystem, open innovation, or venture building
  • Experience working in or selling to corporates in sectors such as energy, pharma, or industrials
  • Demonstrated ability to build and optimise sales processes and CRM usage (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)

Your role at Dealflow.eu:

  • Own the full sales cycle for corporate innovation services—from discovery and relationship building to deal closing and account management
  • Formalise and scale sales processes, playbooks, and CRM pipelines to support Dealflow.eu’s growth ambitions
  • Proactively generate leads, identify and pursue key accounts, and leverage your network to drive new business
  • Collaborate with delivery, marketing, and leadership teams to shape go-to-market strategies, proposals, and narratives
  • Regularly report on KPIs, sales pipeline health, and key account progress to the management team
